THE IMMORTALS

The Immortals are entities of a specific race, and they can only lose their lives if they cut off each other's heads. They have lived for centuries confused among the human race, but hiding what they really are. Some preserve Good, others Evil. Because of a curse they are forced to fight each other until, finally, only one is left alive. Scotsman Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) is one of the survivors of the group of Immortals who have reached our time .

This series had little success in its theatrical release, probably because both the director and the main character were unknown in the 80s. However, it was immediately very popular in the world of video, becoming a series with a great following by the public . . This encouraged the producers to continue with the project, filming sequels for the cinema and a new series on TV. The landscapes of Scotland (along with Sean Connery), coupled with the songs of Queen add great appeal to the series.

KATANAS AND SWORDS OF THE IMMORTALS

1. Ramirez 's Katana

- The immortal Juan Ramírez Sánchez Villalobos was the swordsmith of King Carlos I of Spain in Los inmortales. His katana gives it to Connnor MacLeod

2. Connor Macleod 's Katana

-Connor MacLeod (protagonist of the series) was the first Immortal to carry the alias " Highlander ". He was a vigorous fellow, popular as a strong instructor and  charismatic friend. He was protected by Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez after his First Death in the 16th century. His katana was donated to him by Ramírez

3. The Sword of the Kurgan

-The Kurgan is the bad guy in the series. He is killed by Connor Macleod , an episode that freed humanity from a great villain. His sword is impressive, and his current copy is  made of steel

4. Duncan Macleod 's katana

-Duncan Mac Leod 's sword is a handmade  katana , notable for having the head of a dragon. It was a gift from the samurai Hideo

5. Wakizashi Connor MacLeod

-She is also known as Shoto . It is a short sword of the samurai and belongs to the traditional Japan era. It is frequently used as an accessory weapon to a katana and is very effective at close range and for unexpected attacks. When carried together with a katana , the set is called Daisho , which translates as big-small.
