The story of The walking Dead takes us to a dystopian space produced by a virus that has wiped out practically all of humanity, turning the human race into zombies. But a group of humans fight to survive in a world full of zombies, which they call "walkers".
The protagonist, Rick Grimes is a policeman who, when he comes out of a coma, and finds himself face to face with this devastated landscape, begins a mad race to find and see what has happened to his wife Lori and his son Carl. He finds them alive in a group of survivors, which also includes Shane Walsh, his best friend and partner. But while he has remained in a coma, and believing him dead, Lori and Shane live a loving relationship. Michonne also appears in the series , who is a still young, stocky, courageous and shrewd African-American. Michonne , armed with a sharp katana Eliminate all "walkers" who have the bad luck to cross your path Before the catastrophe, Michonne lived in Atlanta with her son, who is murdered. Since then she has walked aimlessly, far from the cities, totally alone. The series is based on Robert Kirkman 's comics .

CURIOSITIES OF THE SERIES
-When a character dies in the series, a last dinner is made for him, as a sign of farewell.
- The character of Dr. Edwin Jenner is a courtesy to Dr. Edwar Jenner, who was the person who made the first vaccine.
-The heat that walkers give off when filming in cold places, was eliminated in post-production.
-The shots in which you can see a city were shot in the center of Senoia .
- Two zombies appear in the series from the film, The Day of the Living Dead by George A. Romero (1985).
-Walkers grunt is added in post production.
- Beth's death, in season 5, caused a lot of noise on social networks: Scott M. Gimple received hate mail and even death threats.
- The church in the fifth season was not a real church, but just decoration. Due to the terrifying and bloody scenes that were going to be filmed there, they thought that no church would give them permission to film there.
