THE WITCHER
The Witcher is a video game that takes place in medieval times seasoned with fantasy elements. Its script is based on the books of the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski . Its protagonist is Geralt de Rivia , a sorcerer who hunts monsters for money, he has superhuman qualities.
The story begins with our protagonist waking up with amnesia and not knowing where he is. In that state he is transferred to Kaer Morhen , one of the last places of the sorcerers on the Continent, which shortly after Geralt 's arrival , is assaulted by a band of bandits who are known by the name of Salamander and is commanded by Azar Javed and 'The Professor'. In the assault they seize some concoctions used to genetically transform the human race and transmute them into witches.
Geralt and Triss Merigold leaves for Vizima , the capital of Temeria ruled by King Foltest , in search of news about Salamandra, and they are there when they meet Alvin, a boy with paranormal qualities who transmits a prophecy in which the world will be devastated. Geralt and Triss also witness the fight between the Scoia'tael and the Order of the Flaming Rose, a militarized band tasked with protecting Temeria .
Geralt later became acquainted with Princess Ada , Foltest 's daughter whom, some time ago, he protected from a curse, and slowly, he will find out her deal with the Salamander. Meanwhile, the fighting between the Order of the Flaming Rose and the Scoia'tel progresses and many of the local non-humans join the rebels. As the fight continues, King Foltest asks Geralt for help to remove the curse that has once again fallen on his daughter Ada. Geralt comes to the king's aid and resolves the curse on Ada. The King then cooperates with Geralt to find Azar Javed , whom the witcher kills after learning that the Grand Master of the Order of the Flaming Rose , Jacques de Alderberg , supported Salamander.
Geralt and Jacques fight , he teleports them to a future where the world is already devastated just as Alvin predicted. Then Jacques tells Geralt that his concern for the concoctions was due to the fact that they had no other purpose than to give birth to a race of super-humans to defend them from the possible catastrophe caused by the Great Freeze. Geralt defeats Jacques, and it is then that he realizes that the defeated man is carrying a talisman equal to Alvin's.
In the final scene , Geralt defends King Foltest from an attack on his person planned by another bujo.

WHAT KIND OF SWORDS DOES GERALT OF RIVIA USE?
Geralt de Rivia uses two swords , the steel one and the silver one. The first is made of meteorite and is used to execute men and beasts. If what you have to eliminate are magical specimens, you must use the silver sword , which is a formidable weapon to section everything immune to blows with steel elements.
HOW DID GERALT OF RIVIA DIED?
Geralt was killed by an angry mob while protecting the mistreated. They witnessed his death the sorceress Triss Merigold and Zoltan Chivay, the dwarf. His body and his swords The Steel Sword and The Golden Sword were never found.
