Medieval Leather Brigandine
Zetan BattlereadyMedieval torso armor leather ax in brown color. This absolutely beautiful, high-quality leather cuirass is available in two different sizes. Size M: chest contour 105 to 115 cm and Size L: chest contour 115 to 125 cm. Weight 1.9 kg approx.
Also known as brigandine, this strong and lightweight torso armor is made from 2mm thick vegetable-tanned leather. The chest and shoulders are reinforced with 2mm thick leather pads or plates, each firmly fastened with four aged brass rivets. The particular material and construction not only grant a greater degree of mobility than plate metal or scale armor, but also add great visual appeal to the piece. The leather brigandine fastens at the back with five sturdy brass and leather buckle straps anchored in position with brass rivets. The back straps are adjustable to size.
