2 Mm Steel Medieval Helmet
Made of 2mm steel, the three parts of the hull are welded together. On the sides and on the back there are holes to easily attach a chain mail. This is an inexpensive battle-ready helmet for beginners. Includes a high quality adjustable leather inlay with chin strap. Finish: natural (lightly oiled). Head circumference TM 61 cm, TL 63 cm.
This fully battle-ready replica of a visorless medieval helmet. During tournaments it was often worn under a large helm or simple cloth headdress. During hand-to-hand combat or "normal" battle, large helmets were often discarded as they impeded vision and breathing and were very hot. Very often, the secret helmet provided the only protection while allowing the best possible vision.
