Roman armor Lorica Segmentata, Kalkriese type. The Lorica Segmentata has been used by the Roman army for over 200 years. The first finds were made in Kalkriese, Germany, and are believed to date from AD 9. Kalkriese is the presumed site of the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. Unlike later versions like Newstead's, Corbridge's and Kalkriese's armors are resizable. Our replica fits with a chest circumference of 116 cm to 120 cm. Of course, the final chest circumference should always be measured with all clothing on. Details: - Material: approx. 1.3mm steel; brass and leather. Weight: approx. 9.7cm.
