Medieval Arm Protection S.Xiv
Zetan BattlereadyArm part of late medieval armor as worn in the 14th century. It is made of 1.6 mm thick steel and blackened on the inside for better corrosion resistance. It is designed to protect the forearms, elbows and upper arms. Arm protection consists of a couter or cowter (also known as an elbow pad), a two-piece (hinged) tubular bracer or lower barrel for the forearm, and a short gutter-like or upper barrel brace for the upper arm , all connected to each other by two sliding plates or sheets that allow adequate freedom of movement.
