Square Piece Of Natural Steel Chain Mail
The FWM chain mesh type is a variant of the European flat ring mesh. It consists of a row of wedge-riveted flat rings followed by a row of the same size pierced rings. This toggle technique, which was applied not only in the Middle Ages but also in Antiquity, could save a great deal of work as only one ring out of every two needed to be riveted. The fabric is 4 in 1. Size 20 x 20 cm, ring diameter 8 mm, weight 0.3 kg, natural finish (lightly oiled).
