Katana Shogun Tsuru with maintenance kit

Katana Shogun Tsuru, handcrafted in the Longquan village in the Chinese province of Zhejiang by expert forgers using centuries-old traditional methods. The blade is forged from 1095 high carbon steel and tempered in clay creating the hamon. Its Rockwell hardness is 45-48 HRC and the edge is hardened to 56-58 HRC. The tsuba, collar and pommel are made of brass with an antique finish, and have the crane (ancient Japanese symbol representing peace, good fortune and longevity) represented. The handle is made of genuine ray skin. The scabbard is made of shiny black wood. Includes carrying and storage bag and cleaning kit. Total length: 104 cm, Blade length: 72 cm, Weighs 1080 gr.
