Katana Shogun Kiji with maintenance kit
Katana Shogun Kiji, hand forged in Longquan, Zhejiang province of China by expert forgers, using the ancient traditional methods. The blade is forged from 1095 high carbon steel, and tempered in clay using the hamon method. Its Rockwell hardness is 45-48 HRC and the edge is hardened between 56-58 HRC. The tsuba and collar are made of brass depicting the pheasant, which is the Japanese symbol of harmony and current national bird. The handle is made of genuine stingray skin. The scabbard is made of matte black wood with shiny water drops. Includes carrying and storage bag and cleaning kit. Total length: 104 cm, blade length: 72 cm, weight: 1080 gr.
