The sword presents the typical characteristics of a traditional one and a half hand sword (also called a bastard sword) from the Late Middle Ages.
It has a hand forged steel blade, hardened and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of more than 52 HRC. The double-edged full tang blade has a diamond cross section and tapers smoothly towards the point. Rounded, approx. The 2.5 mm thick edges and the rounded tip ensure optimum safety. The long handle is comprised of a brown leather wrapped wood core grip, plug pommel, and straight cross guard 24 cm long and 0.8 cm thick.
