French Gorget
Zetan BattlereadyThis is a very attractive and functional reconstruction of a 13th century French gorget. The original was exhibited in the Wallace Collection and can now be seen in the Louvre. It is described in detail in Sir Guy Francis Lakingin's book "A Record of European Armor and Weapons through Seven Centuries". - material: 1.6 mm steel, brass rivets - weight: approx. 1.65 kg - finish: polished (lightly oiled).
