Medieval armor leg protections consist of poleyns (knee pads, also known as genouilleres), cuisses, and short greaves connected together by two sliding plates that allow adequate freedom of movement. At the back, each leg is fitted with three adjustable leather straps with brass buckles for a custom, comfortable fit. An additional leather strap is riveted to the top edge of the cuisse for proper attachment to a belt. Equally suitable for medieval re-enactments, LARP or fancy dress, these articulated leg guards are ideal for medieval and renaissance settings.
