Bronze 'A' Corinthian Helmet
Corinthian helmets, named after the ancient Greek city of Corinth, were developed in the first half of the 7th century BC. It was the most common helmet in Ancient Greece and even became popular in Italy. This replica is based on the Corinthian 'A' type. The rudder is handcrafted from solid bronze. It is unlined as the rivets would have damaged the shell of the helmet, but it does have a padded crepe. A perfect piece for collectors and reenactors of the ancient Greek era, such as the hoplites.
