During World War II, the SS (Schutzstaffel) was one of the most important and powerful organizations of the Nazi regime in Germany. Within the SS, different units and divisions existed, and various types of daggers and knives associated with this organization were used.

The best known SS dagger was the "SS-Dienstdolch", which translates as "SS service dagger". This was a prestigious and ceremonial weapon used by members of the SS, especially high-ranking officers. The dagger had a long, straight blade, usually made of stainless steel, with a black hilt and a swastika on the pommel. In addition, it used to have engravings with the emblem of the SS on the blade and other symbols related to the organization.

Another type of SS-related dagger was the "SS-Ehrendolch", also known as the "SS honor dagger". This dagger was awarded as a special award for outstanding achievement within the SS. It had similar features to the SS-Dienstdolch, but with additional details and further elaboration in its design.

In addition to these daggers, there were other knives and bladed weapons used by the SS in combat situations. These weapons varied in their design and function, from standard fighting knives to bayonets adapted for the rifles used by the SS.

Today, SS daggers and knives are sought after by collectors interested in the history of World War II and the Nazi regime. However, it is important to note that the display or possession of these objects in some countries may be regulated by laws related to Nazi symbology and its glorification.
