Maximilian I sword with scabbard
Replica of the sword of Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor, which he carried at the Battle of Guinegate in 1513. It has a bone hilt. The grip rings, disc-shaped pommel, and distinctive guard are made of solid brass. The locket and matching leather scabbard ridge are also made of brass. Blade forged in high carbon steel. Bone and brass handle. Total length: approx. 95 cm. Blade length: approx. 78.5cm. Weight (with scabbard): approx. 1500 g.
