Pectoral Leather Armor
Zetan BattlereadyThis robust and lightweight torso armor is made from high-quality vegetable-tanned leather. The front is decorated and reinforced with two leather bands that form a cross motif at chest height. Heavy-duty stitching ensures long-lasting durability. Color: brown - Thickness: approx. 2mm - Weight: approx. 1.3kg. Minimum chest circumference: approx. 102 cm. The armor can be extensively sized by loosening the laces and straps and can be adjusted to almost any size.
The chest and back are edged with aged brass grommets on the sides and shoulders and tied with round leather laces. The back is made up of two panels connected to each other with five leather straps and aged brass buckles. Buckle straps are anchored in position with brass rivets. The combination of shoulder/side lacing and back straps make this fine leather cuirass adjustable to a wide range of sizes. Due to its simple (yet elegant) design, this leather armor lends itself well as a base for the representation of a wide range of historical and fictional/fantasy characters and is suitable for many time periods. An ideal accessory for medieval re-enactments, LARP, performances or costumes.
