This classic helmet can be worn perfectly and is made of hardened 18 gauge steel. The shape of this helmet is the most classic that we associate with the image of a gentleman. This helmet was used on both fronts during the wars of Henry VIII in France (1522-1523). The term "Close Helm" (Helmet Closed) defines a type of helmet that covers the whole head, for a complete protection, with a field of vision very reduced to expose the eyes as little as possible. The visor is perforated with keyholes on both sides for a good air flow during combat. The lower part is divided into two overlapping pieces that are hinged on the sides and join at the chin, while the visor is firmly locked on it.
