German M38 Paratrooper Helmet
The interior features a tough leather inner hull with an aluminum band or ring. A 1 cm thick shock absorbing foam padding is placed between the leather lining and the shell of the helmet. The particular design of the chin strap and the gray color are also based on the original WWII German Fallschirmjäger helmet strap. It has an adjustable buckle and snap button closure. Material: 1.2mm steel bowl, leather lining with aluminum ring and foam pads, leather strap. Suitable for head circumference up to approx. 62 cm. Weight: approx. 1.3kg.
This high quality, historically accurate reproduction of a Stahlhelm as worn by the paratroopers (Fallschirmjäger) of the German Luftwaffe in World War II is made from 1.2mm (18 gauge) steel. The surface of the bowl has been finished (painted) with a custom camouflage pattern of three colors (khaki, green, and red) and aged to give it a genuinely weathered appearance. The thin artificially rusted iron wire surrounding the Wehrmacht helmet makes it even more authentic and provides additional camouflage options by attaching leaves or twigs to it.
