Burgundy Medieval Helmet S. Xv Steel 1.6 Mm
Burgundian helmet XV century, 1.6 mm steel. Suitable for head circumference up to approx. 65 cm. Height: approx. 24 cm. Weight: approx. 2 kg.
This late medieval helmet is a reproduction of a late 15th century Burgundian war helmet or kettle helmet, modeled after original artifacts (one of which is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York). Its particular appeal lies in its simple yet attractive design and fluted bowl that makes it stand out from the crowd. Worn by foot soldiers, archers, crossbowmen, pikemen, and men-at-arms throughout Europe in the Early and Late Middle Ages, this rather simple helmet in the shape of a broad-brimmed hat owes its name to its resemblance to a pot (originally called kettle). Suitable for light combat, LARP, stage or TV/film reenactment, this stylish fully wearable helmet will make your transformation into a proud medieval warrior seamless.
