Imperial Italic D Continental Weisenau-Krefeld classification type. Replica of an original found near the gates of the Roman camp and later Kastell Gelduba (Krefeld-Gellep, Germany). Erected between 12 and 9 B.C. C., this Roman fortification played an important role during the revolt of the Batavians and survived until 500 BC Since the gill flaps of the original were missing, they are designed here following the Imperial Italic Helmet D of Worms. Material;Steel and brass. Includes a padded cotton cap. Size: for head circumferences up to 60 cm. Weight: approx. 1.9kg.
