Roman helmet Italic 'H' made of steel and brass. Detailed replica of the original 'AG 800' from the famous Axel Guttman collection, which was auctioned several years ago. The original find in the river is said to come from the Balkans, but the exact location is unknown. In reference to the ornamentation, this helmet is also known as 'mouse bread and bread'. While the characteristic shape of the round loaf of bread is known from finds from an excavated bakery in Pompeii, the mouse or rat was a frequently used symbol that could be found on lamps or knife handles. Compared to earlier 'Weisenau' models, its neck guard is particularly long, a response to the weapons used by opponents of the time.
