Nasville Plow Cavalry Sabre

When the war approached, the owners turned their establishment into an armory. The Nashville Plow Works continued to operate until April 1, 1862, when the city was taken over by federal troops. This sword has a cast brass guard, with the inscriptions CSA and Nashville Plow Works in upper case at the bottom. The handle and the back strips are brass and one piece.
