Viking Helmet Goggles With Plume And Aventail

This functional Viking helmet with eye shield -Battle Ready- is hand forged from 2mm thick steel. It consists of a domed helmet, a headband with strips or bands (in German called spangen) running from front to back and from ear to ear, and a protective plate resembling spectacles. The bands and faceplate are made of thinner steel and are attached to the bowl with steel rivets. The blackened interior is equipped with a leather suspension lining and the leather chin strap is closed with a steel buckle. Suitable for historical combat reenactment. Material: 2mm steel, leather inlays, leather chin strap. Weight with aventail and feather approx. 3.2kg.
