Practical Single-Hand Sword
The grip is permanently mounted and the tang is riveted for safety. The blade is fullered for balance and features 1/16" edges and a rounded tip. The scabbard is fabricated in a glass-filled resin, to provide great impact resistance, to eliminate swelling and to minimise blade corrosion problems. The wood grain finish is attractive, but is left unfinished for owner customization.
CATEGORY B_x000D_ High quality, well-balanced carbon steel swords, but not as hard as category A swords. They withstand well controlled combat without strong blows, but they should be used with swords of the same hardness, as they can be damaged in a fight with a harder blade._x000D_ The minimum hardness is 48 HRC._x000D_ They have a full tang, bolted or welded to the handle._x000D_ Unsharpened and with a rounded edge._x000D_ Light and easy to handle with a well balanced centre of gravity.
