Brass auxiliary infantry helmet. Helmets of this type were probably worn by both infantry and cavalry during the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD The wide cheek flaps cover the temporal, cheek and chin area and are entangled together by a pin in the front part. The helmet itself is reinforced by upper ribs, the neck is specially protected by an approx. Screen 9 cm wide, as well as the front. The spikes on the corners of the ribs, as well as on the front screen, were likely for the purpose of deflecting the opponent's blows. Details: for a head circumference of up to approx. 66 cm. material: approx. 1.2mm. Weight: approx. 2 kg.
